The Board of Directors of Brams United is pleased to announce the addition of Melanie Bradley as the new General Manager of the Club.
Melanie brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in Youth Soccer that will be an asset to the club in her role, overseeing the Administration and Operations Teams.
With over 10 years playing experience, Melanie grew up playing competitive soccer in the South Region Soccer League, achieving two SRSL League Championships in 2004-2005. She started her coaching experience in 2010, coaching both female and male Rep and Development teams between the ages of U9-U18 in Milton, Oakville, and Burlington. Originally completing the CSA Community Coaching levels, she has recently upgraded these coaching levels with Active Start, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life and C License (in training). Melanie also holds a Diploma in Business Marketing from Fanshawe College.
In 2012, Melanie moved from the field into a role as a soccer administrator, previously serving as House League Program Assistant and LTPD Coordinator at Oakville SC. During her time in these roles she worked on Youth House League program design, communications, organizing/monitoring over 600 volunteer coaches and recreational teams. Melanie is most proud of her work in rolling out the inclusive program “Breaking Barriers” which made soccer accessible for all youth athletes in the area. Interested in gaining more knowledge about the Competitive programs, Melanie moved into the role as Competitive Administrator at Burlington Youth SC in January 2016. In the role she managed the administration for 41 teams (Development, OPDL, Rep) including registration/permits, scheduling, equipment orders, OPDL venue management, and served as the club’s Discipline Chair.
We are looking forward to working with Melanie and are excited of the Future of Brams United. Please join us in welcoming Melanie to our Team.
