Small-Sided Games Series

Playing the game of soccer more has several benefits including but not limited to creating a sense of fun, encouraging creative play, and long-term love for the game. In an effort to make the game more accessible, Brams United has designed several programs which allow for drop-in style, adaptable small-sided games, just like playing at your local park with friends!

Whether you are a beginner or advanced soccer player, everyone is welcome, our coaches will help adapt the teams to ensure games are inclusive and fair!

Small-Sided Games Series

The program aims to close the gap between the end of indoor soccer (April 1) and the start of outdoor soccer (May 22), and help keep players engaged, active, and learning about soccer once a week with technical staff coaches. Participants will receive a 10-minute warm-up, followed by small-sided games with their peers (groups based on age/stage) for 50 minutes. Small-sided games can be games of soccer broken into 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and 7v7, all with the goal to provide more touches on the ball, increasing decision-making, and encourage creativity with the ball.
