Subject: 2021 Spring Season Updates
Dear Members,
We hope that you and your families are staying safe and well. Over the past few days there have been several announcements, and updates to the government framework, which will entail adjustments to Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play. Brams United is prepared to amend any programs and requirements to ensure the safety of all participants.
The 2021 Spring season was scheduled to kick off the week of May 24, and with today’s announcement, we understand that the season must be delayed. As the season was scheduled for 8 weeks, the Club is preparing contingency plans to amend the length of the Spring season to kick-off after June 14. As more details are provided over the next week by the government, health officials, and Ontario Soccer, Brams United will follow up with our membership to provide several registration options and details regarding the season.
Members will be provided a survey link to select their preferred options for fees and registration. We appreciate your patience over the next few days as we await more details and can provide the next steps and several options to our members. Our Technical Director and Tech team will continue to offer virtual training options to keep the participants engaged. If you are interested in this free virtual training option, please contact Jordan Brown at technicaldirector@bramsunited.ca
For more updates and information please visit Ontario Soccer. During this period, staff will continue to be available via email. We appreciate your support and understanding through this time of uncertainty and will continue to assist with questions and concerns. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy and look forward to seeing you all safely back on the pitch!
Sincerely,
Melanie Bradley
